The stampede ensued after Arjun made a surprise appearance at the theatre, which attracted an overwhelming number of fans. Additionally, Allu Arjun announced financial support for the affected family, offering $30,488 to assist them and pledging to cover all medical expenses for the injured. He emphasized that this gesture was meant to show his solidarity, especially for the children left behind.
Reflecting on the tragic turn of events, Arjun expressed how shocked he and his team were upon learning about the stampede. “We never expected to hear such tragic news the next day after attending Pushpa’s premiere at RTC Crossroads,” he shared, recalling the disheartening moment when he found out that Revathi had succumbed to her injuries.
