Elon Musk’s xAI has introduced Grok 2, an upgraded version of its AI chatbot, now three times faster with enhanced accuracy, instruction-following, and multi-lingual support. Free users can make 10 queries every two hours, while Premium and Premium+ subscribers enjoy higher limits.
A new “Grok button” on X aims to provide real-time context, insights, and deeper engagement with trending topics, enriching user experience.

xAI has also slashed enterprise API costs, lowering input token pricing from $5 to $2 per million and output tokens from $15 to $10 per million. Aurora, its image-generation model, will soon join the API for added functionality.
These advancements come as xAI faces a legal battle with OpenAI but continues driving innovation on X.
