Private educational institutions in Islamabad will be closed for winter vacations from December 21 to January 5, as per a notification released on Friday.
Classes are set to resume on January 6, 2025, due to the seasonal weather.

In Punjab, the School Education Department has revised the dates for winter holidays. The break will now begin on December 23, instead of December 20, and schools will remain open on December 20.
The revised winter break schedule applies to all public and private schools in the province, with schools reopening on January 13, 2025.
In Sindh, the Education Department announced that both private and public schools will observe holidays from December 21 to 31, with the decision affecting all educational institutions in the province.
