Christmas Eve asteroid set to skim past Earth at incredible speed

NASA has identified a massive asteroid, 2024 XN1, that will safely pass Earth on Christmas Eve at a speed of 14,743 mph. Measuring up to 70 meters in diameter, it will remain 4.48 million miles away—18 times the distance between Earth and the Moon.
