Lahore Traffic Police Given Directive to Handcuff Drivers in Specific Situations

Lahore City Traffic Police have been instructed to handcuff individuals violating traffic and parking laws before filing cases against them.

Officials revealed that every sector in-charge and circle officer is required to carry handcuffs at all times. Violators will be handcuffed immediately and handed over to local police for further action.

The Chief Traffic Officer issued the directive, focusing on stricter enforcement to address illegal parking and encroachments in the city. As a result, traffic wardens have begun securing handcuffs on their own.

A video has emerged showing traffic officers using handcuffs on violators, demonstrating the enforcement of these new measures.
