Tragic Traffic Accident on Indus Highway Claims 12 Lives, Leaves 25 Injured

A devastating traffic accident on the Indus Highway at Ambiri Kallah Chowk has claimed the lives of at least 12 individuals, leaving 25 others injured. The horrific crash occurred when a 22-wheeler trailer, reportedly experiencing brake failure, collided with a passenger flying coach and several other vehicles, causing a catastrophic chain reaction.

Rescue operations are ongoing as authorities work to extricate more victims from the wreckage. According to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Karak, the crash took place late in the afternoon and resulted in immediate fatalities. The oil tanker trailer, unable to stop due to faulty brakes, overturned onto the passenger coach, crushing it under its immense weight.
