Diljit Dosanjh unveiled the teaser for his much-awaited film Punjab 95, portraying Sikh rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. Directed by Honey Trehan and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film is set for a February 7 release.

The teaser begins with Arjun Rampal’s character questioning Punjab’s troubled history, touching on events like Operation Bluestar, Indira Gandhi’s assassination, and the 1984 riots. Dosanjh takes the lead as Khalra, exposing over 25,000 cases of illegal killings and secret cremations by Punjab Police.
The film has faced delays, with reports of the CBFC suggesting 120 cuts. However, Khalra’s family has endorsed the portrayal after a 2022 screening.
Fans are eagerly awaiting Dosanjh’s compelling performance, especially after glimpses of his intense transformation shared earlier this year.
