Cement prices in Pakistan have dropped, offering some relief to individuals and businesses engaged in construction projects. Top brands, including Bestway Cement, Maple Leaf Cement, and DG Khan Cement, are now selling at Rs1,390 per bag, while other brands are offering cement at Rs1,400 per bag. This reduction in price is attributed to shifting market demand and improved import conditions in the construction industry.
In addition to falling cement prices, steel availability has also played a role in the current market fluctuations. Prices for a 10 kg cement bag now range between Rs13,850 and Rs14,05 PKR. Meanwhile, individuals registered through the Ehsaas Program’s 8171 portal can benefit from a 30% discount on cement purchases, providing further cost-saving opportunities for those planning construction projects.
