Indian actress Archana Puran Singh recently underwent surgery after suffering significant injuries while filming for an upcoming project with actor Rajkummar Rao. The accident occurred during a routine scene, where Archana tripped and fell, resulting in a broken wrist and facial injuries.
Reports from Indian media reveal that Archana was swiftly taken to a hospital in Vile Parle, where doctors performed surgery to stabilize her injury, inserting a wire around her wrist.

Archana later updated her followers through a video on her popular YouTube channel, providing details of the accident and the surgery. The vlog opens with real footage of the incident, showing Archana’s fall in the early morning. In the video, she is seen tearfully collapsing off-camera, with crew members quickly coming to her aid and taking her to the hospital. Her husband, actor Parmeet Sethi, was promptly informed of the situation.
Initially hesitant to be filmed, Archana eventually agreed to share the details of the incident with her audience. During the vlog, Parmeet humorously remarked, “She’s doing so much chapad-chapad; it means she’s fine now,” as Archana gazed at the stunning view of Mumbai from her hospital room.
While recovering, Archana expressed her amazement at the view and jokingly said that she was tempted to stay in the hospital due to its beauty but felt the need to return to her work commitments.
In the final moments of the vlog, Archana shared an optimistic message, saying, “Everything happens for a purpose,” and reassured her followers that she would resume her professional duties as soon as possible.
