The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to announce the squad for the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and Champions Trophy 2025 within the next two days. According to sources, the selection has been finalized after thorough consultations with the national selectors. Key players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, and others are set to feature in the squad.
Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah, and Saud Shakeel are also likely to be part of both events. However, the inclusion of young talent Saim Ayub remains uncertain due to an ongoing injury. Abbas Afridi and Aamir Jamal’s names are reportedly under consideration for the final squad selection.

Pakistan’s preparation for the Tri-Nation Series will begin on February 4, with the series starting on February 8. Pakistan will face New Zealand in the opening match at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The final of the Tri-Nation Series will take place on February 14 in Karachi.
Following the Tri-Nation Series, the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will commence on February 19, with matches held across three venues in Pakistan and Dubai. The tournament promises to be a thrilling month of world-class cricket.
