Pakistan’s young all-rounder, Mohammad Wasim Jr., has officially started his wedding celebrations, sharing glimpses from the events on social media. The 23-year-old cricketer posted pictures from his Mehndi and Dholki ceremonies, capturing the joyous mood of the celebrations.
Though Wasim Jr. had secretly married last year, he is now preparing to bring his wife, Asma, to their home.

Their wedding has sparked significant interest, not only due to Wasim’s cricket career but also because he is the first cricketer from North Waziristan to play for Pakistan.
Held in Islamabad, the Mehndi and Dholki ceremonies were intimate gatherings with close family and relatives. Wasim Jr. confirmed on social media that his Mehndi ceremony took place on January 29, 2025. Earlier, he had shared news of his Nikah in June 2024, which was followed by an Umrah trip with his wife.
Wasim Jr., who has represented Pakistan in all three formats of cricket, faced an injury setback last year. His wedding celebrations have reignited excitement among fans, who are eagerly awaiting his return to the cricket field.
