During a members-only episode, Raina asked Nabam if she had ever eaten dog meat. She responded that while she hadn’t, people in her state do, sometimes even consuming their pets. The statement sparked strong reactions from the panel, with comedian Balraj Singh Ghai questioning its authenticity.
The remarks triggered outrage, leading to an FIR against Nabam. Filed by Armaan Ram Welly Bakha in Itanagar, the complaint accuses her of making derogatory comments about Arunachal’s indigenous people. Authorities have been urged to take swift action to prevent similar incidents.
