Social media sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, known for his unique comedic singing style, has announced plans to open a music academy in Lahore. During a recent television appearance, Khan revealed that the academy will offer training in both singing and acting, with the aim of helping aspiring artists hone their skills.
Khan, who entertained the audience with his quick wit and humor during the show, added a touch of lightheartedness when asked about his personal life. He jokingly claimed that he had been pursuing the show’s host for a year and expressed a playful desire to marry her, much to the amusement of the viewers.

While Khan has amassed a loyal following for his remakes of classic songs, including Noor Jehan’s Bado Badi, his unconventional style often invites criticism. He remains a polarizing figure in the music industry, with detractors questioning his approach. Nevertheless, Khan remains unfazed, attributing the negative attention to jealousy from fellow Pakistani musicians.
“Legendary Indian singers, producers, and directors appreciate my work, but I don’t understand why Pakistani musicians and anchors do not,” Khan remarked, pointing out the disparity in reception between his home country and India. Despite the mixed opinions, he encouraged his peers to stay focused on their craft and maintain a positive outlook.
Khan’s new academy, he hopes, will serve as a platform for young artists to develop their talents and make their mark in the entertainment industry.
