Telugu film Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, has surpassed $11.5 million globally in just 10 days, marking Chaitanya’s first entry into the prestigious ₹100 crore club.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel premiered on February 7 in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, with the Telugu version leading the earnings. The film grossed $6.58 million domestically, including $0.37 million on its second Sunday alone.
Based on a real 2018 incident of fishermen drifting into Pakistani waters, Thandel blends gripping drama with an emotional love story. Despite a modest budget, the film’s success is drawing comparisons to Game Changer.
