Fans React as Urvashi Rautela’s Image Removed from 'Daaku Maharaaj' Poster

Urvashi Rautela, who played a significant role in promoting the Telugu film Daaku Maharaaj, has once again found herself in the spotlight. However, this time, it’s not for her performance or her viral dance moves.

Fans have been left disappointed after Netflix India shared the film’s release poster on social media, noticeably excluding Urvashi from the artwork. Despite her active involvement in promoting the film, her absence from the new poster caught many by surprise.

The movie, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol alongside Urvashi, gained immense popularity, particularly due to the viral dance number Dabidi Dabidi, in which she featured prominently.

Urvashi’s promotional efforts helped generate significant buzz for the film, and she even made headlines by claiming that the movie had grossed ₹105 crores (approximately $12.1 million) at the box office.

The internet quickly erupted with reactions, many of which mocked the situation. One user sarcastically wrote, “The first-ever lady to be removed from the poster of her own film! A historic first.” Others questioned the decision, highlighting Urvashi’s marketing contributions. “She did the most promotions for this film! I’ve never seen such a downfall,” another fan remarked.

Some even poked fun at the poster design, with one comment humorously stating, “I think I can spot Urvashi peeking from behind those rocks.”

As fans continue to debate the matter, Daaku Maharaaj is set to premiere on Netflix on February 21. Whether Urvashi’s exclusion will impact the film’s reception remains uncertain, but the controversy has undeniably brought more attention to its release.
