Flight operations across Pakistan’s northern regions have been severely affected due to heavy rain and dense fog, leading to the cancellation of six flights. Poor visibility at airports in Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, and Islamabad has caused significant disruptions, while thunderstorms with lightning are impacting Lahore Airport. Peshawar is also experiencing partial rain.
According to the latest flight schedule, four flights between Islamabad and Gilgit (PK 601, 602, 605, and 606) have been canceled, alongside two flights from Islamabad to Skardu (PK 451 and 452). Additionally, 14 other flights are experiencing delays in arrival and departure at various airports.

The weather forecast predicts widespread rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall over the next twelve hours in upper Punjab, Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Heavy rainfall and snowfall are expected in some areas, with a chance of hailstorms in the Pothohar region and northeast Punjab.
Morning temperatures recorded in major cities include Islamabad at 11°C, Lahore 14°C, Karachi 23°C, Peshawar 10°C, and Quetta 3°C. In Gilgit, the temperature stands at 6°C, while Murree and Muzaffarabad recorded 2°C and 11°C, respectively.
For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy conditions with rain, thunderstorms, and snow are expected. Morning temperatures in the region recorded Srinagar at 2°C, Jammu 13°C, Leh minus 10°C, and Shopian at 0°C.
