Chasing 316, Afghanistan fell short at 208, despite Rahmat Shah’s fighting 90. Kagiso Rabada led the bowling attack with three wickets, while Wiaan Mulder and Lungi Ngidi picked up two each.
Earlier, Rickelton’s 103 and crucial contributions from Bavuma, van der Dussen, and Markram helped South Africa post 315/6. Mohammad Nabi was Afghanistan’s standout bowler with two wickets.
