Carse, 29, struggled in England’s defeat in Lahore, conceding 69 runs in seven overs. He had also missed the final two ODIs against India before returning for the tournament opener.
Spinner Rehan Ahmed has been named as his replacement, bringing six ODI appearances and 10 wickets to the squad. England, placed in Group B, will face Afghanistan on February 26 in Lahore before taking on South Africa on March 1 in Karachi.
