Pakistani actress Sonya Hussain has revealed that Babar Azam is no longer her favourite cricketer. During a special broadcast on a private TV channel covering the Champions Trophy 2025, she shared her disappointment over Pakistan’s underwhelming performance in the tournament.

Hussain admitted that she once admired Babar Azam but no longer holds the same opinion. She mentioned having a new favourite player but couldn’t recall their name at the moment. The actress also expressed sympathy for fans heartbroken by the team’s poor display.
Meanwhile, the Champions Trophy is nearing its final stages, with India, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand making it to the semi-finals. The title clash is set for March 9, with the venue depending on India’s qualification.
