Authorities have uncovered a massive Rs50 billion betting racket linked to the Champions Trophy final between India and Pakistan in Dubai.

Delhi Police arrested five bookies, including Parveen Kochhar and Sanjay Kumar, who were caught placing live bets during the semi-finals. Investigations revealed their connections to a Dubai-based betting syndicate, reportedly linked to Dawood Ibrahim’s network.
The crackdown exposed an international betting ring involving several bookies operating from Dubai, with police recovering Rs22 lakh in cash. Further arrests and investigations are underway.
