The Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan has accused India of orchestrating the recent terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan. During his weekly briefing in Islamabad, FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated that intelligence reports revealed the terrorists were in contact with associates in Afghanistan during the attack.
The Jaffar Express was ambushed by separatist militants on Tuesday, who attacked the train with rockets and explosives, killing several passengers. The rescue operation, led by Pakistan’s armed forces, concluded after a two-day standoff. While 21 hostages lost their lives, the military successfully rescued many others.

Pakistan has reiterated its concerns over terrorist groups using Afghan soil for cross-border attacks, urging the Afghan interim government to prevent militant organizations, including the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), from operating within its borders.
The military’s official statement confirmed that no civilians were harmed during the final rescue operation, though four soldiers lost their lives. Security forces, including the Special Service Group (SSG), played a crucial role in neutralizing the terrorists and preventing further casualties.
