US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce has once again declined to comment on questions related to former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. During a recent briefing, Bruce was asked about the situation concerning the PTI founder, but she reiterated that the US government does not involve itself in the internal matters of other nations.
“Iโm not going to comment on the internal frameworks of another country,” Bruce stated in response to the journalistโs query. She emphasized that the US refrains from offering commentary on domestic issues of foreign nations, staying consistent with its policy of non-interference.

When asked about President Donald Trumpโs stance on the matter, Bruce directed the journalist to the White House for inquiries on the Presidentโs views. She also pointed out that both President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have consistently stressed the importance of global issues and the USโs focus on international welfare.
“The United States is focused on what is happening globally,” Bruce added, underlining the broader foreign policy approach of the US.
This marks the second time in two weeks that the US has avoided commenting on Imran Khanโs situation. During a briefing on March 6, the spokesperson similarly declined to address a question about possible US support for Imran Khan.
