Uzbekistan Airways is set to commence direct flights between Tashkent and Islamabad starting May 24, 2025, in a major step toward enhancing regional connectivity. The new route marks a collaborative initiative between Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Pakistan and Uzbekistan Airways JSC, aimed at fostering stronger ties between the two nations.
Initially, the flights will operate once a week, every Saturday, with ongoing discussions between the airline and Pakistan’s civil aviation authorities to finalize all required arrangements. Depending on demand and operational success, flight frequency is expected to gradually increase.
