A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred, and four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Maddi, Dera Ismail Khan District, targeting a group of Khwarij, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.
The operation successfully engaged the terrorists, resulting in the death of four Khwarij. During the intense firefight, 23-year-old Sepoy Basit Siddique, a resident of District Attock, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom after fighting bravely.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists, who were reportedly involved in several terrorist activities in the region. Following the operation, a sanitization mission was carried out to eliminate any remaining terrorists.
The statement emphasized that such sacrifices only strengthen Pakistan’s determination to eradicate terrorism from the country.
