Irfan Ahson Explains the Reason Behind Junaid Safdar’s Failed Marriage

Renowned Pakistani wedding photographer Irfan Ahson has shared his insights on the high-profile wedding of Junaid Safdar, the son of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz. Ahson, known for capturing weddings of prominent political, business, and media figures in Pakistan, discussed the event during his appearance on Samaa TV’s podcast.

While Ahson chose not to go into personal details, he hinted that the atmosphere at the wedding suggested the marriage might face challenges. He observed the behavior, dynamics, and interactions at the event, noting signs of friction that led him to believe the union wouldn’t last.

He attributed the breakdown of the marriage to a lack of harmony between the two families, specifically pointing to issues with the bride’s family not integrating well with the groom’s side.

Despite his comments on the marriage, Ahson spoke positively about his interactions with Maryam Nawaz and her family, describing them as warm and welcoming. He also praised Junaid, noting that he was polite, grounded, and respectful.

Ahson, who has a large social media following and is acclaimed for his cinematic wedding photography, has sparked online discussions with his comments, especially regarding the pressures high-profile marriages face in the public eye.

The wedding, which was widely covered for its grandeur, designer outfits, and celebrity guests, ended in separation after a brief period. Although neither party publicly addressed the reasons for the split, Ahson’s remarks are among the first to suggest that tensions were noticeable even during the celebration.
