A 22-year-old female student from Islamabad’s International Islamic University (IIUI) was tragically shot dead inside a private hostel located in the G-10 sector.

According to initial reports, an unidentified man forcefully entered the hostel, pushed the victim into her room, and opened fire in front of her roommates. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
Police have registered a case and launched a full-scale investigation to apprehend the suspect. Security around private hostels in the area has been tightened.
