Pakistani Man Pleads To Stay In India For Children’s Life-Saving Surgeries

India

A Pakistani man from Hyderabad, Sindh, currently in New Delhi, has appealed to both Indian and Pakistani authorities to allow his family to stay in India until his two children, aged 7 and 9, complete their crucial heart surgeries. The children are undergoing treatment for congenital heart conditions at a private hospital.

While the hospital staff and doctors are providing full medical support, the police and foreign office have ordered the family to leave immediately. The father fears that returning to Pakistan before the surgeries could endanger his children’s lives.

The family has already spent around ₹10 million on medical expenses, accommodation, and travel, reflecting the serious commitment made toward the children’s treatment. The father has offered to comply with any legal conditions, including regular police reporting, to secure an extension of their stay.

The emotional plea has drawn attention to the human side of cross-border challenges, hoping for compassionate intervention from the authorities.
