FBR Achieves 30% Month-on-Month Growth in April 2025 Collection

Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has achieved a significant milestone, achieving a 30% month-on-month growth in tax collection for April 2025, surpassing the 28% growth rate recorded up to March.

Key Highlights:

1. Remarkable Performance: FBR’s collection for April 2025 has crossed the entire annual target of 9300 set for the previous year.
2. Growth Momentum: Despite issuing refunds amounting to PKR 43 billion, FBR’s collection growth remains robust.
3. Segment-wise Growth:
   1. Income Tax: 44% growth
   2. Sales Tax: 17% growth
   3. Federal Excise Duty (FED): 31% growth
