Nirmal Kapoor, mother of Bollywood veterans Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and producer Boney Kapoor, passed away on May 2 at the age of 90 due to age-related health complications. She breathed her last at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai around 5:25 pm.
Dr. Santosh Shetty, CEO and Executive Director of the hospital, confirmed the news, stating that she passed away peacefully. Following the announcement, family members and celebrities arrived at Anil Kapoor’s residence to pay their respects.

Grandchildren including Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah were seen at the gathering. Janhvi Kapoor arrived with her rumoured partner Shikhar Pahariya, while other family members joined in mourning the loss.
The funeral is scheduled for May 3 at 11:30 am at Pawan Hans Crematorium. Earlier this year, Anil and Boney Kapoor had celebrated her 90th birthday on social media, expressing deep love and gratitude for her lasting presence in their lives.
