British Council Suspends Exams in Lahore Amid Ongoing Situation

Due to the ongoing security concerns, the British Council has decided to cancel all board exams scheduled for today in Lahore. Their statement emphasized that the decision was made with the safety of the candidates as the top priority.

This change comes after the British Council Pakistan initially confirmed yesterday that exams would proceed as planned despite the rising tensions between Pakistan and India.

In their earlier announcement on Facebook, they assured, “All exams scheduled for today will proceed as planned, and updates will follow if necessary.”

Students were previously advised to reach out to their schools or the Customer Services Centre for private candidates for any questions related to the exams.

The British Council has not provided a date for when the cancelled exams will be rescheduled.
