Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, spokesperson for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), has become the most searched personality in Pakistan amid heightened tensions with India. According to Google Trends, searches for “Aurangzeb” peaked at 2:00 AM on May 12, 2025, reaching the highest possible score of 100.
His sharp rise in popularity is attributed to his composed media presence and viral moments, including a quip referencing Pakistan’s reported aerial dominance: “PAF vs IAF, 6-nil.” This statement followed Pakistan’s claims of downing six Indian aircraft in response to Indian military aggression earlier in May.
