Defence Minister Khawaja Asif declared on Saturday that Pakistan’s national unity, once fractured, has now solidified into a strong front united against terrorism. Speaking in Sialkot, he emphasized that the country’s war is firmly focused on combating terrorist threats.
Asif stated, “We have defeated India on the eastern front. Now, India is involved in infiltrations along our western borders. By the grace of Allah, we will achieve even greater success on the western front than we did in the east.” He praised the armed forces for downing Indian aircraft and honored the sacrifices of martyrs and heroes, whose names have become immortal in Pakistan’s history.

The defence minister reaffirmed the government’s unwavering support for the military and lauded the leadership and bravery of the commanders. “I extend my congratulations to the chiefs of all three services and to the soldiers of the Pakistan Army,” he added.
Asif’s remarks underline a message of resilience and solidarity amid ongoing security challenges, with civilian and military leadership united in defending the nation.
