A moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale shook Swat and surrounding areas on Sunday.
The National Seismological Centre reported that the tremors originated from a depth of 205 kilometers, with the epicenter situated in the seismically active Hindu Kush mountain range, spanning Afghanistan and northern Pakistan.

The quake was felt across various parts of Swat district, including Mingora and nearby regions.
Although the tremor caused temporary alarm among residents, no casualties or damage have been reported so far, according to local authorities.
