Senate Chairman Yousuf Raza Gilani represented Pakistan at the spiritual inauguration ceremony of Pope Leo held at the Vatican, where he extended the heartfelt greetings of the Pakistani government and its people.
His participation in the event was seen as a strong gesture promoting interfaith harmony and goodwill. Gilani reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace, mutual respect, and dialogue among religions — principles that form a core part of the country’s foreign policy.
