On Monday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted rain accompanied by strong winds in several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab, while most parts of Sindh and Balochistan are expected to continue experiencing hot and dry weather.
The Met Office reported that Islamabad and nearby regions will likely see partly cloudy skies, with some areas possibly receiving rain and gusty winds.

In KP, although many districts are forecasted to remain hot and dry, scattered showers and strong winds are expected in northern and upper areas such as Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, and Battagram. Rainfall is also predicted for cities like Peshawar, Swabi, Mansehra, and Abbottabad.
Other districts including Nowshera, Charsadda, Kurram, Waziristan, Bannu, Kohat, Karak, and Dera Ismail Khan are also anticipated to experience similar weather conditions.
In Punjab, northern districts such as Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum are expected to receive rain and strong winds. Showers may also occur in Lahore, Sargodha, Khushab, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Narowal.
Additionally, rain and gusty winds might be felt in Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Jhang, and Bhakkar, potentially providing some relief from the ongoing heatwave affecting central Punjab.
Meanwhile, Sindh will largely remain hot and dry, particularly in its central and northern districts. The PMD also warned of strong, dusty winds during the afternoon across major cities such as Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Larkana.
Balochistan is expected to face similar weather, with most areas experiencing high temperatures and dry conditions.
The PMD advised residents to take necessary precautions, especially in regions anticipating strong winds and dust storms, and urged farmers and travelers to stay alert amid these changing weather patterns.
