Google has launched a new premium subscription service, Google AI Ultra, offering early access to its most advanced artificial intelligence features for $249.99 per month. The announcement came during the company’s annual developer conference, Google I/O, with the service now available in the United States and a global rollout expected in the coming months.

Targeting developers, creatives, and professionals, AI Ultra includes Google’s top-tier AI models, such as the Gemini 2.5 Pro in “DeepThink” mode—built for advanced reasoning and research. Subscribers will also gain access to Flow, Google’s intuitive AI filmmaking tool, which offers 1080p video generation, cinematic camera controls, and the latest Veo 3 video model.

Other standout features include NotebookLM, which turns notes into podcasts and helps users organize large volumes of information, and Project Mariner, an experimental multi-agent AI tool that can juggle up to 10 tasks simultaneously, from online research to real-time bookings.

Google AI Ultra integrates seamlessly with Gmail, Docs, Vids, and Chrome—enhancing productivity through early access AI tools within everyday Google services. The subscription also includes a personal YouTube Premium membership and 30TB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos.

As a launch offer, Google is offering 50% off for the first three months. The move signals Google’s ambition to stay ahead in the high-stakes race for premium AI services, following similar offerings like OpenAI’s $200/month ChatGPT Pro.
