May 25 Designated as Day to Celebrate Pakistan-Africa Ties

The Senate of Pakistan, led by Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani, has unanimously passed a resolution to observe May 25 as Pakistan-Africa Friendship Day. The resolution marks a significant step toward fostering deeper diplomatic and economic ties with the African continent.

Lawmakers emphasized the vast potential for expanding trade and investment between Pakistan and African nations. The resolution underlined the importance of cultivating stronger bilateral relations based on mutual respect and cooperation.
