Pakistani esports star Arslan Ash has officially qualified for the Tekken 8 tournament at the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, further solidifying his legacy as one of the worldโs top Tekken players.
Set to take place from August 14 to 16, the Tekken 8 event will feature 32 of the globeโs finest competitors battling for a share of the $1 million prize pool. Itโs part of the larger EWC, which spans from July 7 to August 24 and includes over 2,000 participants across 25 esports titles, competing for a historic $70 million purse.

A five-time EVO champion, Arslan has overcome obstacles including visa issues that previously forced him to miss key events. Despite these challenges, he remains a dominant force on the international stage, recently placing fifth at Combo Breaker 2025 in the U.S.
His qualification not only marks another personal milestone but also reaffirms Pakistanโs growing influence in the global esports arena.
