Pakistani actress Shazeal Shoukat has stirred fresh debate with her blunt remarks about Bollywood and Fawad Khan’s silence amid past controversies in India. Speaking on a recent podcast, Shazeal expressed her desire to work in Bollywood — but only when there’s genuine acceptance. “I want to work in Bollywood, but only when they own me with pride,” she said, emphasizing the importance of dignity over fame.

When asked indirectly about Fawad Khan’s previous troubles in India, Shazeal didn’t mince words. “If I was in his place, I would have condemned India,” she stated, criticizing Fawad for staying silent during the backlash he faced. She added, “Faith is everything. If India rejects you, there’s always Hollywood.”
Her remarks have sparked online debate, with fans and critics weighing in on cross-border artistic ties and whether Pakistani stars should speak up more.
