Tremors were again felt in Swat and nearby areas for the second consecutive day, registering a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale.
The Seismological Centre reported the earthquakeโs epicenter in the Hindu Kush mountain range at a depth of 97 kilometers. Fortunately, no casualties or damage to property have been reported.

Meanwhile, Balochistanโs Zhob region also experienced an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale, with the epicenter located about 60 kilometers southeast of Zhob and a depth of 40 kilometers, according to the Seismological Centre.
Separately, the Meteorological Departmentโs director general announced that the monsoon season is likely to start roughly a month earlier than usual this year. Typically, Pakistanโs monsoon period occurs in July and August.
