On Friday, the polio eradication programme issued a directive to all districts, requesting comprehensive data on mobile and migrating populations.
The order mandates district authorities to urgently provide this information to support upcoming immunization efforts. A progress review meeting of the polio campaign was convened, chaired by Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Coordinator Adeel Tasawar, with participation from polio officers across 36 districts via video link.

Districts were also instructed to report details about migratory groups. Furthermore, officials were told to implement measures to enhance the performance of polio workers.
Tasawar stated that a performance evaluation would be carried out for union councils that showed weak results in the campaign. He emphasized that the outcomes of this assessment must be promptly shared with the polio eradication team.
