PML-N senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for unveiling what he called a “masses-friendly” federal budget for the fiscal year 2025-26, praising the government’s economic strategy aimed at public relief.
During a meeting in Islamabad, Rafique lauded the premier’s efforts to stabilize the economy and uplift the common man. The two leaders also discussed the current political situation in the country.

Rafique emphasized that the budget marks a step towards economic recovery and reflects the government’s intent to provide genuine relief to the people.
In a separate development, Prime Minister Shehbaz strongly condemned Israel’s aggression against Iran, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Iranian people. In a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Shehbaz termed the Israeli strikes a breach of international law and Iranian sovereignty.
