An Air India flight bound for Delhi was forced to make an emergency return to Hong Kong after the pilot reported a suspected technical issue mid-flight.
Flight AI315, operated using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, had just departed from Hong Kong when the issue was detected. In line with standard aviation safety procedures, the pilot opted to turn the aircraft around and return to its departure point.
