Women's World Cup 2025 India to Host, Pakistan Matches Set for Neutral Venue

The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 is tentatively scheduled to begin on September 30 in India, with Bengaluru hosting the opening match between India and Sri Lanka, according to cricket sources.

Due to diplomatic sensitivities, all of Pakistan’s matches will reportedly be held at a neutral venue, with Colombo finalised as their base for the tournament. The much-anticipated clash between Pakistan and India is slated for October 5 in Colombo.

Pakistan will begin their campaign on October 2 against Bangladesh, followed by key group matches against Australia (October 8), England (October 15), New Zealand (October 18), South Africa (October 21), and Sri Lanka (October 24).

Semi-final matches are likely to take place in Guwahati or Colombo and Bengaluru, while the final is tentatively scheduled for November 2, with either Bengaluru or Colombo set to host the decider depending on logistics and conditions.

Though the ICC has not yet officially confirmed the schedule, anticipation is already building among fans, especially for the high-voltage Pakistan-India showdown on neutral ground.
