Pakistan and the United States have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening economic cooperation following virtual discussions aimed at resolving bilateral tariff issues and finalizing a trade agreement.
According to a statement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance, the meeting took place between Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. The dialogue focused on enhancing trade, investment, and broader economic ties between the two nations.

Both sides agreed to continue detailed technical-level negotiations under a mutually agreed roadmap, signaling a willingness to overcome trade hurdles through diplomacy and coordination.
The finance ministry noted that both ministers expressed optimism about reaching a successful agreement soon and emphasized the importance of economic partnership in fostering long-term bilateral relations.
