Elon Musk has shaken up U.S. politics once again, threatening to form a new political party—dubbed the “America Party”—if Donald Trump’s massive domestic spending bill passes through Congress. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO called the bill “insane spending” and a sign that the U.S. is ruled by a “Democrat-Republican uniparty.”
Musk voiced his frustration on X, criticizing the bill for pushing the national debt ceiling up by a staggering $5 trillion. “We live in a one-party country — the PORKY PIG PARTY!!” he wrote, slamming the GOP for enabling reckless fiscal decisions. He warned that if the bill passes, he will launch the America Party the very next day.

The billionaire’s outrage comes just as the Senate races to approve the controversial legislation before the July 4 deadline. The bill includes tax cuts, infrastructure subsidies, and increased defence spending — measures that have divided lawmakers and angered Musk, a former ally of Trump.
Political strategists say Musk’s threat could deepen rifts within the conservative base ahead of the 2026 midterms. While some doubt he’ll follow through, others believe his influence—especially among younger voters—could shift the political landscape.
If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day.

Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE.
