The United Kingdom has officially handed over three state-of-the-art hovercraft to the Pakistan Navy, enhancing the country’s maritime strength and mobility.
Manufactured by Griffon Marine Support, the advanced vessels were delivered under a 2022 agreement and are known for their speed, manoeuvrability, and adaptability in diverse missions. These hovercraft are expected to play a critical role in boosting Pakistan’s naval logistics and operational capabilities.

A handover ceremony was held in London, attended by senior officials from the Pakistan High Commission, symbolising growing defence ties between the two countries.
The addition of these hovercraft will improve the Pakistan Navy’s efficiency in coastal operations, border patrolling, and rapid deployment tasks in challenging environments.
