Zimbabwe is preparing to host its inaugural franchise cricket tournament, the Zim Afro T10, in Harare from 20th to 29th July, marking a significant milestone for African cricket. Bringing additional star power to this cricketing extravaganza is none other than renowned Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt, who will make his debut as a co-owner of the Harare Hurricanes franchise. Partnering with him in this venture is Sohan Roy, the esteemed Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Aries Group of Companies.

The Zim Afro T10 tournament will feature five teams competing for the coveted title, including the Durban Qalandars, Cape Town Samp Army, Bulawayo Braves, and the Joburg Lions. The draft ceremony for the tournament is set to take place on 2nd July, creating a sense of anticipation and excitement among cricket enthusiasts.
Expressing his enthusiasm for this new venture, Sanjay Dutt stated that cricket is akin to a religion in India, and he considers it his responsibility to promote the sport across the globe.
