The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the continued Israeli aggression on Syrian territory and the blatant interference in the internal affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic, in flagrant violation of international law, international resolutions, and Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The General Secretariat reiterated the OIC’s full solidarity with, and support for, the Syrian Arab Republic and its people during this critical time. It also emphasized the need to respect the sovereignty, unity, independence, and territorial integrity of Syria.
Furthermore, the General Secretariat called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to put an end to the repeated Israeli attacks that threaten regional peace and security.
