Talal Chaudhry, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), clarified that the sons of former Prime Minister Imran Khan would be granted visas if they apply for them. This remark comes amid growing speculation regarding the visa status of Khan’s family members.
Talal Chaudhry addressed the media on Thursday, stating that there was no issue with the visa applications of Imran Khan’s children. He emphasized that visas would be processed just like any other request, as long as the necessary procedures were followed. According to Chaudhry, there is no political interference in the matter, and the visa approval process would be entirely based on the rules and regulations.
Imran Khan’s sons, who have been living abroad for some time, have recently been in the spotlight due to their father’s political situation. The former prime minister has faced legal and political challenges, leading to speculation about the fate of his family members, including his sons. However, Talal Chaudhry made it clear that their visa applications would not face any undue hurdles.
Chaudhry also pointed out that the visa process was transparent and fair, with no special treatment given to anyone, regardless of their political background. He further added that if the Khan family followed the proper procedures, there was no reason for their visa applications to be rejected.
The comments from Talal Chaudhry come at a time when tensions between the ruling government and Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party are high. Despite these tensions, the PML-N leader stressed that the issue of visas should not be politicized.
In conclusion, Talal Chaudhry assured the public that Imran Khan’s sons will get visas if applied, as long as they follow the official process. His statement aimed to clear up any confusion and reassure the public about the fairness of the visa application system.
